This program meets the requirements set forth in WAC 246-808-150(5) and qualifies for CE credit under §(a), (e), (g), (k), and (p) of the same. Although stem cell therapies (SCT) are not within the chiropractic scope of practice, differential diagnoses and referrals are.  This seminar is not intended to train DCs in the performance/administration of SCT.  This seminar is intended to train DCs to evaluate a patient's possible candidacy for SCT through a differential diagnosis, counsel patients on their options regarding SCT vs. chiropractic, make appropriate referrals, understand the legal and ethical parameters DCs must function within regard SCT, understand the types of business relationships  they can have with other providers offering SCT, and how to market their ability to educate patients on the topic of SCT and to make such evaluations and referrals.
