Concurrence Votes Needed in Senate

There is one bill that the WSCA is working in the final week of the legislative session. It is a larger health care reform bill. In the last week of the session we would like you to call your Senators and tell them:

Please concur to E2SSB 5930 as passed the House. The bill preserves the "every category of provider" law in all health insurance plans and requires a study of all mandates and some statutory requirements for cost impact with a report to the legislature in 2008.

The legislative session is scheduled to end in 1 week, so keep your calls and efforts strong. The final phase will come when both of these bills are concurred to and then we will need a Governor's signature.
